Chasing tracks!

FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS!

With our eyes closed we need to follow the path of Dinosaur tracks with the help of our special guide.

Introducing the concepts left and right and developing laterality.

Thanksgiving!

Thursday 22nd of November,

we celebrate Thanksgiving!

During the whole week we have been talking about what makes us happy.

On Thursday 22nd, the day started with an activity in "Hermanamientos", nuestras clases estan "hermanadas con:

Infants 1 (3 year olds)  A- B --> Year 3 (3ºEP)

Infants 2 (4 year olds) A-B --> Year 6 (6ºEP) B

Infants 3 (5 year olds) A- B -->  Year 6 (6ºEP) A

Obras de teatro, bailes, cuentos, murales colaborativos y algún regalito!! 

Añadimos nuestra pluma con nuestros agradecimientos a las del resto del cole!

Por la tarde tuvimos una buena merendola de Otoño!

Compartimos con los compis de otras clases de Infantil

For this experiment, we used:
- Water
- Oil
- Coloring Food
- Effervescent tablet

Garden time!

Visit to our school garden

The littlest kids of our school visit our garden for first time.

Daniel was very kind and he helped us to plant garlics.

It was a great experience, everybody planted one.

Fossils and Icnitas

Experiment!!!

As you know, we are learning a lot of things about DINOSAURS, and with this experiment we learn to distinguish between Fossils and Icnitas, the best of it, 

it was the process!

First of all, we prepare "salt dough";the ingredients we used were:
- Salt (1 cup)
-Water (1 cup)
-Flour (2 cups)

We mixed the ingredients and stirred the mixture

       

 We manipulate the dough to feel its texture

        and we kneaded it with rolling pins.

Gently we pressed a dinosaur toy both body (fossils) or footprints (icnitas) into the dough and lift the toy up to reveal....
a cool impression

Once they get dry we could take our icnitas and fossils home
